About Me

I am a graduate of East Carolina University!  After graduating with my undergraduate degree in 2003, I went back to ECU and received my Masters in 2007.  I love teaching reading, it is my favorite! Watching a child love to read and truly understand it, makes everyday worth coming to school for.  

 

I have taught in Pitt County, Halifax County, the state of Georgia, and now Edgecombe County.  Teaching in different areas has allowed me to grow professionally through amazing coworkers.  I enjoy teaching at Stocks because I feel like it is family.  

 

My school family has welcomed my personal family as their own. I am married with twin daughters.  Everyone is amazed at how they look nothing alike - a blonde and a brunette!
